Pictured are respective Men’s and Women’s winners Daniel Hillier (Manor Park) and Darae Chung (Shandon) with Shandon President Alan Hunt. Both shot excellent scores in conditions that worsened as the day went on. In the morning round Daniel shot a course equalling record of 64 !!.
Entries were very strong for the Men’s club champs. There were 23 entries for the Seniors, 33 for the intermediates and 18 for the Juniors.

McLeod Cup – Senior Strokeplay Champion – Fasi Tuulima with a 71 Eastbourne Cup – Intermediate Strokeplay Champion – Dean Johnson with a 78 Consolation Cup – Junior Strokeplay Champion – Peter Henderson with an 87 Burridge Cup – Best net score during Qualifying – Ryan Woolly with a 67

The rules for the2018 Men’s Club champs have been revised based primarily on the feedback from the Club Survey earlier in 2018. The details of the survey and the summary used by the golf committee to consider changes are appended to this document which provides the rationale for any rules changes.
